Sheriff’s Arrests

Editor’s note – Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt. People are presumed innocent after an arrest until convicted.

Although reasonable care is taken, clerical errors may exist.

In the section where those individuals who are arrested and booked are listed, law enforcement entities are denoted by the following abbreviations: SO – Sheriff’s Office; BTM – Bandera Town Marshal; DPS – Texas Department of Public Safety; PCT – Precinct/Constable; TPW – Texas Parks and Wildlife.

From July 12-31, the following people were arrested in Bandera County:

Genaro Reyes, 40, of Bandera, arrested July 12 by So for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, deadly conduct with a firearm, and unlawful possession.

Christina Perez, 31, of San Antonio, arrested July 18 by SO for two counts of felony theft, burglary of a building and unlawful possession.

John Arnet, 63, of Bandera, arrested July 18 by SO by assault with bodily injury and interfering with commerce.

Tate Gonzales, 18, of Bandera, arrested July 20 for delivery of marijuana and delivery of a controlled substance to a minor, released July 20.

John Hunter, 44, of Medina, arrested July 21 for a violation of parole warrant.

Joshua Hendon, 27, of Kerrville, arrested July 21 by BPD for three counts of failure to appear, a traffic warrant, possession of paraphernalia, no liability insurance, expired license plate and four traffic warrants.

Cody Asthon, 21, of San Antonio, arrested July 21 by THP for first-offense DWI, released July 22.

Jimmy Cox, 64, of Bandera, arrested July 22 by BPD for public intoxication, released July 23.

Sam Thompson, 35, of Bandera, arrested July 23 by SO for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Ruby Conklin, 26, of Bandera, arrested July 23 by So for third-offense DWI and having fictitious/altered license plates.

Justin Hightower, 33, of Skidmore, arrested July 23 by BPD for first-offense DWI, released July 24.

Michael Brode, 34, of Bandera, arrested July 25 by DPS on a motion to revoke parole felony warrant.

Dusti Maxey, 39, of Lakehills, arrested July 27 by SO for manufacturing/delivery of a page one controlled substance an burglary of a building.

Garrett Raab, 19, of Bandera, arrested July 28 by SO for possession of certain chemicals and page one controlled substance.

Nathan Silva, 35, of Pipe Creek, arrested July 28 by SO for tampering with/fabricating evidence and possession of a page one controlled substance, released July 30.

Daniel Mclean, 31, of Flint, arrested July 28 by SO on a warrant from an outside agency.

Skie Sanchez, 45, of San Antonio, arrested July 28 by SO on two warrants from an outside agency and two other warrants.

Julia Reyes, 58, of Bandera, arrested July 30 by BPD for first-offense DWI, released July 30.

Sandra Mewes, 60, of Bandera, arrested July 31 by SO for second-offense DWI, released July 31.

Dana Shannon, 63, of San Antonio, arrested July 31 by SO on a warrant from an outside agency.

Christopher Jones, 44, of Bandera, arrested July 31 by BPD for public intoxication, criminal mischief and retaliation, released July 31.

As of Monday, August 1, there were 75 people in the Bandera County Jail, 61 male and 14 female.

Of those 75 people, four were contract inmates from Real County and another two were from Medina County.
