RODEO RIDERS WIN BIG

Winners of the 2022 Cowboy Mardi Gras Bull Riding pose with their winning checks and prize buckles following the eighth annual event at Mansfield Park Last Weekend. This year’s winners were: Jorge Valdaviso of Mexico in open bulls; Damien Kruhall of Wharton, Texas, in novice bulls; Fernando Morales of Eagle Pass, Texas, in senior mini bulls; and Willy Walling of Alvin, Texas, in junior mini bulls. A total of 69 bull riders entered the event, which was made possible by Diamond O Bucking Bulls owners, Charles and Dawn Oldham, teaming up with Lazy K Productions owners, Troy and Karen Konvicka.
