Lakehills Library Update

The Lakehills Area Library Fundraiser Dinner and Auction will be on Saturday April 2nd at the Lakehills Civic Center on Park Road 37. All funds raised will support the library's programs and purchasing of materials for the community to use. Please join us and make our 2022 fundraiser amazing!

Dinner will be Jerry's Famous Spaghetti, Bread, Salad, and tea or water for $10. Dinner will be served at 5pm until 7pm. To-go meals are available.

There will be a silent auction from 4:30-6 pm and the live auction starts at 6:30pm.

Boyle's True Value in Lakehills and Bandera has donated a gift card worth $1,000 for our annual fundraising raffle, priced at $5 each or 6 for $25

If you would like to donate a new item, gift certificate, or service to the library fundraiser for the auction, please contact Dianna at the library, 830- 510-2777. We appreciate your support!

On Thursday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, the library will host a Community Services Fair.

Representatives from AACOG(transportation, home weatherization, veterans, and caregivers services), Texas A&M Agrilife Extension (nutrition, agricultural, environmental, and economic education), Lakehills Community Center (health, hobby, and social programs), Silver Sage (programs for seniors), The Arthur Nagel Clinic (health and medical care for eligible residents), Hill Country Samaritans (raise funds, organize donations, and facilitate events with local churches, non-profits, and other volunteers to aid our neighbors in Bandera, Medina, and surrounding counties) and CentroMed (assists people in enrolling for health insurance through the Healthcare Marketplace, CHIP, or Medicaid).

Please join us to find out what services might be available to assist you or a loved one.

Free yoga is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30-1130 a.m. with Jessica. Please bring your own mat and water.

Children’s story time is Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and will feature preschool*aged crafts, songs and stories.

Book Club on March 8th at 1 p.m. will discuss “The Midnight Library” by Matt Haig.
