Lakehills Library Update

Summer Reading may have ended last month, but children’s programming is not over!

We will have our preschool story time starting on September 8th at 10:30 am. Every Wednesday, Miss Dianna will read books, sing songs and make preschool crafts designed to teach basic skills to the kids so they are school ready. Children of all ages are invited to join us.

The library First Saturday book sales have resumed. Our next sale is August 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hardbacks for only $1.50, children’s books and soft covers are 50 cents!

All money raised by our book sales goes to fund library programs and materials.

Live book club has resumed! Book club meets the second Tuesday of each month at p.m. at the library. On August 10, they will be discussing The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson.

Yoga is coming! A free yoga class for all ages will begin on Thursday August 12th at 10:30 in the Lakehills Library Meeting Room. Please bring a mat and water.

The Lakehills Area Library Board will meet on Wednesday August 11th at 4:30 pm in the library meeting room. Meetings are open to the public. If you are interested in joining the library board to help the library to grow and serve our community, please come by the library and pick up an application.
