Henderson wins scholarship

Bandera High School graduate Kylee Henderson recently received a scholarship through Bandera County Farm Bureau’s scholarship program.

To help several local students achieve their dreams of furthering their education, Bandera County Farm Bureau awarded $1,000 in scholarships.

“We offer these scholarships at a local level to help kids right here at home, “Bandera County Farm Bureau President Booker Young said. “Trade school, college and university educations can be expensive. Scholarships are one way we invest in the future of Texas agriculture.”

Young said Henderson was selected based on her academic, scholastic and agricultural involvement,”

“We are proud of her commitment to her education and to agriculture,” said Young.

Kylee Henderson is the daughter of Michele Henderson and plans to attend Tarleton State University in the fall to study Animal Science.

“We are confident Kylee will be successful in her future endeavors,” Booker said.
