Members of the Bandera Democratic Club celebrated its redesigned website at their last monthly meeting on Sept. 10.

The website has information for all voters, and the Facebook page features social events and club activities.

Eloise Clayton, president of the Bandera Democratic Club says after a contractor secured a domain and hosting company, several club members rebuilt the sites.

“We are really lucky to have members who can handle this kind of technology,” Clayton said. She hopes younger Americans will take a look.

“They’re the future of our whole country, as they map out their own futures, so I hope they’ll get involved,” she added.

In Gen Z terms, five club members worked hard to “glow up” the sites.

They included four “boomers,” Janus Olive, Chuck Lutke, Trudy Mabry and Eloise Clayton and Atticus Graham, a 21-year-old “zoomer.”

Olive learned internet designing techniques as she worked on uploading the sites’ wording and images.

Changes to the sites to keep up with events are planned. The club says any Zoomers, Millennials and Generation Alpha members who want to help are welcome to join.
