Last month, the Bandera City Council approved the use of Bandera City Park for the Christmas Lights Committee to decorate from November 27 to January 8, 2022.

Jane Pratt, Chairman of the Bandera Community Action Group (CAG), is heading the Christmas Lights Committee that will set up lights and holiday displays at Bandera City Park and the Bandera County Courthouse.

Individuals can volunteer to assist setting up the lights and displays on November 20 and tear down on January 8.

Secondly, individuals, businesses, churches, and non-profits are encouraged to design their own display at Bandera City Park. For this endeavor, all lights used must be on a dusk-to-dawn timer, and the displays must be checked frequently for lights adjustments and bulb replacements as needed.

Lastly, individuals or groups can provide live entertainment, such as holiday music, choirs, readings or skits, between November 26 and January 3.

Planning of the physical layouts and set-up began earlier this month. To get involved, contact Jane Pratt at 830-522-1118 or banderacag@gmail.com.
