Bond’s Election Day is Saturday

Early voting concluded Tuesday, May 2, for the 2023 Bandera ISD School Bond Election, and Election Day is slated for May 6.

The $79,491,416 bond election will address projects throughout the district, including:

Safety/Security:

• Security Vestibules (ALL)

• Security Fencing (ALL)

• Fire & Intrusion Alarms + Intercom (ALL)

Infrastructure/Compliance

• New Gym HVAC (AES & HCE)

• Replace HVAC Systems (AES, HCE, BHS)

• Roof Replacement (BHS)

• ADA Accessibility (ALL) Building Site Improvements, Restrooms & Playgrounds

• ADA Signage (ALL)

• Replace Lighting/LED (ALL)

• Replace Windows (BMS)

Site Improvements

• Drainage

• Water Intrusion

• Canopies

• Parking Lot Repairs

Career/Technology Education

• Adding/Renovation/New:

• Ag/Welding, Building Trades, Robotics, Culinary, Nursing, Floral, Animal Science,

• Consumer Science, ROTC and Computer Science

Administration

• Addition to Administration + Front Door Identify Fine Arts Education

• Band Hall

• Choir Hall

• Auditorium Renovation

• Auditorium Support Space

Athletic/Physical Education

• Multipurpose Center

• Concessions Restrooms

• Boys & Girls Locker-room

• Middle School Stadium Concession & Restroom

Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday at the following locations based on voter’s precinct location:

• Precinct 101: Bandera High School (Band Hall), 474 Old San Antonio Hwy

• Precinct 102: Pipe Creek Volunteer Fire Dept, 1331 FM 1283

• Precinct 203: Lakehills Area Library, 7200 FM 1283

• Precinct 204: Lakehills Area Library, 7200 FM 1283

• Precinct 305: Ray Mauer Annex 403, 12th Street

• Precinct 407: Bandera ISD Bus Barn, 1576 Highway 173 South

• Precinct 408: Tarpley Community Center, 232 Valentine Lane

• Precinct 409: Lakeshore Volunteer Fire Dept, 9019 Wharton Dock Road
