Skeletal remains discovered Sept. 6 in the Bandera Ranch Acres subdivision have been positively identified as 63-yearold Norma Espinoza, says the Bandera County Sheriff’s Department.

Bandera County Chief Deputy Matt King said an examiner from Central Texas Autopsy made the positive identification after comparing medical devices in her leg, hip and neck.

King added the longer-than-usual wait time for positive identicfiaction was due to a subpoena required for medical records.

The cause of death is undetermined.

“There were no no indicators of criminal activity detected,” said King.

Espinoza’s body was discovered by a neighborhood resident, according to the department. She was reported missing in August by her daughter.
