Wednesday is a popular day at the Medina Community Library for moms and young children, thanks to its LIttle One Story Time

On Hump Day the Library has its Little One Story Time.

“It is an early learning event that the children and parents really like because they learn together,” said Library Director Alison Harbour during last Wednesday’s event, where she told stories and held up cartoon-like animals like hippos.

During the event, the children use “story slides” with long colorful small animals they can slide along with the storyteller.

Beth Sells brought her twin four-year-old daughters and nine-month-old son.

“We come here often and really enjoy story time activities and songs. My little son gets very excited and happy here,” she said.

Kristi Starks said her daughter has been coming to the weekly event for years and loves it.

Little Ones Story time at the Medina Community Library, located at 13948 Hwy 16 N in Medina, occurs every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. For more information, call 830-589-2825
