Rodeo season concludes with missing prize

The Riding on Faith Rodeo concluded its 2021 season by crowning its champions, but a missing belt buckle complicated those celebrations.

Bandera County Chief Deputy Matt King says that a police report was filed for the missing buckle, which was made by Hyo Silver and valued at $350 dollars.

“We are asking that whoever needed a belt buckle they didn’t earn to please do the honest thing and return it,” read a Facebook post on the rodeo’s Facebook page.

Despite the alleged theft, the rodeo’s champions were still recognized:
