Mullers celebrating 65th anniversary

Steve Muller and Patsy (Spratling) Mueller were married on June 5, 1956, in Houston, honeymooning one week in Yosemite National Park.

They met at 16, and he chased her until they were 19, when she gave up.

They lived in San Francisco for a year while Steve finished his Navy tour. Once out of the Navy, they settled in Houston, where Steve was a sales engineer selling equipment to support the petroleum industry.

Patsy was a domestic engineer in her right, as she raised children and assured a good home for kids and husband.

Their five children, Matthew, Michael, James, Linda and Ann, are scattered from Kerrville to Houston, Little Rock and Atlanta, Among them are a doctor, a lawyer, an airline pilot, a Christian missionary and a domestic engineer follow ing in Patsy’s footsteps.

Steve and Patsy have twelve grandchildren and in August will welcome their first great grandchild. Forty years ago, when

Forty years ago, when Houston became too big, they moved to Bandera where Steve continued to sell oil field equipment. Patsy was very active with Frontier Times Museum Board of Directors until she resigned five years ago.

Mr. Mueller said the past 65 years have been special and wonderful for him and his family with Patsy in it.
