LOCAL WOMAN CELEBRATES CENTENTIAL

Gladys Breiten Teer Kollman of Hondo celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday, January 20, surrounded by family. Gladys was born in Quihi, Texas, and is the daughter of Ida Lindberg and Oscar Breiten. She married Brooks Teer on June 16, 1940. They had four children together: Carol Martinez,, Bobby Teer, Anita Jeffery and Dottie Alanis. In her spare time, she enjoys watching John Wayne and sipping Dr. Pepper.
