Frontier Times hosting annual Moonshine & Moon Pies Bash

Frontier Times hosting annual Moonshine & Moon Pies Bash

The Frontier Times Museum will host its fourth annual Moonshine & Moon Pies Bash at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, on the museum grounds at 510 13th St. in Bandera.

The event will feature moonshine tastings, a catered dinner from The Hungry Hustle and live music from MishMash, according to the museum.

Dinner will include catfish fried on-site, pulled pork, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese and other offerings.

The museum said the Bandera Brewery crew also will be on-site serving craft beer and wine.

MishMash, described by the museum as a variety band, will provide live music during the event.

A silent auction also will be held to raise funds for the museum’s educational programs, including Archaeology Day, Native American Heritage Day and Fridays at the Museum, a newer museum initiative. The museum listed Bandera Brewery, Falling Rock Ranch and Bill and Judy Pannebaker as Full Moon sponsors.

Tickets are $65 per person and include the tastings, dinner, entertainment and other activities, according to the museum. Presale tickets are available at the museum or through its website.
