The Kerr County Democratic Party will host a “Meet and Greet the Candidates” event from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at River Star Arts & Event Park, located at 4000 Riverside Drive in Kerrville.
The event will feature Dr. Kristin Hook, candidate for U.S. House District 21; Joe Paz Herrera, candidate for Texas Senate District 24; and Kathryn Hartmann, candidate for Texas House District 53, according to the Kerr County Democratic Party.
The candidates will discuss their views and positions on key issues. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions and address the candidates with concerns and comments.
The party said U.S. House District 21 and Texas Senate District 24 include Gillespie, Kerr and Bandera counties. U.S. House District 21 also includes Kerr and Bandera counties, according to the party’s Sept. 27 press release.
