Meet Medina Community Library’s first kid librarian: Emmaline Bailey, 8, loves attending library programs and checking out books. Her favorite books include The Bad Guys series, Shark Lady, the Adventure in Mice series and The Book Without a Story. Emmaline said her favorite thing about the Medina Community Library is how nice the librarians are and calls it the best library ever. As the library’s first kid librarian, she has learned how to attach due-date stickers to books, check in and check out books and perform other library tasks. Library staff said they are proud of Emmaline and enjoy seeing her and her family walk through the door. In one photo, Emmaline stands with her library display; in the other, she checks out a book for Medina patron Linda Barton.
