More than 30 people gathered outside the Bandera County Courthouse Saturday, Sept. 12, for a protest organized around the theme, “What has he done for us? We need a change?” Organizers promoted the event to supporters in the Kerrville and Boerne areas and arranged transportation to Bandera. Protesters held signs along the courthouse lawn and roadside from 9 to 11 a.m., with organizers emphasizing that the demonstration would remain peaceful and nonviolent. The protest preceded the Bandera County Democratic Club’s monthly meeting at the Silver Sage Dining Hall.
