Rhonda Bayless
Rhonda Bayless is a graduate of Southern Methodist University. After graduating, she lived in Dallas, Texas, until she and her husband moved to Comfort, Texas, in the early 2000s. She is also both a mother and grandmother.
Rhonda grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and enjoyed time with her family at a cabin at what is now known as the Lake of the Cherokees.
Through the beauty of the seasons that she experienced there, her oil paintings are a result of her love for all things she found in nature: skies, landscapes, lakes and forests.
It is because of her love for being outside in nature that “plein air painting” appeals to her. Rhonda says that “it is her goal to capture the unique light, atmosphere and color of a subject and to share that excitement with the viewer.”
Rhonda’s art can be viewed online as Rhonda Bayless Artist. Her email is rbayless202@gmail. com.
Yvette Gomez
Yvette Gomez began her journey into beaded jewelry when she became fascinated with the beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that she would discover in various boutique shops.
She says that she was “drawn to the individuality of handmade jewelry,” the textures, colors, details and using “ordinary materials” to create something truly special.
Through experimentation and much “trial and error,” and because she loved the process of the “world of beading and wearable art,” she started to create her own unique pieces.
Choosing colors, combining textures and seeing how the individual beads could come together to create “something with their own personality” has become a creative outlet for her to express her own sense of style.
