Flood-relief aid coming to Hill Country families

BOERNE – Hill Country Family Services has been tabbed to help distribute nearly $100,000 of flood relief funds directly to families in Kendall and Bandera counties, according to the agency’s executive director.

Bryce Boddie said Tuesday the agency accepted the role of facilitator of $94,088 from the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, the lead collector and distributor of funds for flood relief since the tragic July 4, 2025, Guadalupe River flood that killed 134 people.

Boddie said HCFS staff met with Community Foundation representatives prior to the Aug. 4 announcement of aid money for residents.
