The Lakehills Area Library is featuring the photography of Delaney Joe Morrison throughout the month of August.
Morrison describes herself as both a longtime and part-time resident of the Pipe Creek area. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in agricultural economics and plans to pursue a master's degree in agriculture.
In 2022, Morrison represented Bandera Electric Cooperative on the Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. As a Texas 4-H photography ambassador, she has traveled throughout Texas, across the United States and to Europe, experiences that helped foster her passion for photography.
Morrison said each photograph in the exhibit tells a story, carries a deeper meaning or reflects a social issue that is important to her.
She is also available to provide background information and a brief synopsis about the photographs on display for anyone interested in adding a piece to their collection.
The exhibit is on display during regular library hours at the Lakehills Area Library, 7200 FM 1283, Lakehills.
The library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is free.
