The Bandera City Council's long-awaited budget workshop for the 2026–27 fiscal year was canceled Wednesday, July 22, after the council lost the quorum required to conduct business.
Council Member Lynn Palmer did not attend the meeting. As of publication, she had not responded to The Bulletin's request for comment regarding her absence.
Council Members Deanna McCabe, Tammy Morrow and Debbie Breen, who had repeatedly called for the workshop in the interest of what they described as greater financial transparency, were in the middle of reviewing the budget before the meeting was canceled.
