Trussell signs to continue baseball career at St. Mary's

Special to the Bulletin

Bandera High School baseball player Brady Trussell has signed to continue his academic and athletic career at St. Mary's University in San Antonio.

The Bandera High School Athletic Department announced Trussell's commitment in a statement, celebrating his accomplishments both on the baseball field and in the community.

'Brady is the definition of a phenomenal kid, both on and off the diamond,' the athletic department said. 'Beyond throwing heat and crushing it on the field, he has spent years dedicated to volunteering and pouring back into the younger kids of our community through the Bandera Boys & Girls Club and so much more.'

According to the athletic department, Trussell has established himself as a leader and teammate while also dedicating time to serving younger members of the Bandera community.

'He is a true leader who sets the standard for what it means to be a teammate and a community role model,' the athletic department said in the statement.

Trussell will join the St. Mary's Rattlers baseball team while continuing his education at the university.

'Brady, we have loved watching you grow, compete and lead,' the athletic department said. 'We couldn't be prouder to watch you take this next massive step.'
