Hill Country Samaritans will host its annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, July 25, offering free backpacks, school supplies and other services for Bandera County students preparing for the upcoming school year.
The event is scheduled from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lakehills Community Center, 11225 PR 37, Lakehills.
The free event is open to prekindergarten through 12th-grade students, including those attending public, private and homeschool programs.
According to event organizers, students must be present to receive backpacks, school supplies and other available goods and services. Public and private school students must also be registered to attend school in Bandera County to receive backpacks and school supplies.
In addition to backpacks and school supplies, the event will feature free haircuts, health services, crafts, games, activities, music and food. Community organizations will also be on hand to provide information about local resources and services. The Back-to-School Bash is hosted by Hill Country Samaritans in partnership with Bandera ISD.
