Walker Community Church hosting two-week revival

Walker Community Church and several partner churches across Bandera County will host a twoweek “We Love Jesus” revival beginning May 31 and continuing through June 14, according to organizers.

The evening revival services will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Walker Community Church, 8135 W. State Highway 16 in Bandera.

Organizers say the event is designed to bring churches and community members together for worship, prayer, teaching and outreach.

The revival will feature what organizers describe as “powerful teaching,” spirit- led worship and prayer, opportunities for outreach and service projects, and ministry for healing, freedom and restoration.

Guest pastors, evangelists and worship leaders from across the region are expected to participate during the two-week event.

Promotional materials for the revival encourage attendees to “come expecting, come hungry, come ready to see God move.”

Organizers say the services are open to everyone, regardless of church background, and emphasize the message “come as you are.”

Walker Community Church, located at 8135 W. State Highway 16, regularly hosts weekly worship services and community events, including a food pantry offered on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Sunday worship services are held at 10:30 a.m., with additional Bible study and prayer gatherings throughout the week.
