The Bandera Natural History and Art Museum will celebrate its 10-year anniversary with the Jurassic Jamboree on Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the museum, 267 Old San Antonio Highway in Bandera.
According to organizers, the family-friendly event will feature dinosaur displays, a Puppotron dinosaur, dino-themed obstacle course activities and interactive exhibits designed to help children and families “explore, experience, educate and enjoy.”
Additional activities will include horseback riding, a bounce house, rock climbing wall, cornhole competition, magician Frank Greer, live music by country artist Nick Zamora and appearances by Happy Tails Exotic Zoo.
Organizers said a mechanical bull and axe throwing activities will also be available for older participants and adults.
Food, entertainment and museum exhibits will be available throughout the day, including access to the museum’s International Hall and Trails of Habitats exhibits.
