KERRVILLE — Peterson Health has been recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Healthcare, marking the sixth consecutive year the organization has received the designation.
The national award recognizes healthcare employers for workplace culture, employee satisfaction and professional development opportunities.
Modern Healthcare partners with Workforce Research Group to evaluate organizations through employee surveys and workplace assessments.
“The ability to sustain this recognition for six consecutive years speaks volumes to the culture we have been able to cultivate,” Peterson Health President and CEO John McDonald said in a statement. “We truly value our team and understand that when you take care of the people who take care of our patients, great things happen.”
Peterson Health, founded in 1949, serves patients across nine Hill Country counties and operates 19 locations throughout the region.
