The Hill Country Alliance is inviting photographers of all experience levels to participate in its 2026 “Home in the Hill Country” Photo Contest, which runs through May 31.
The annual contest encourages participants to capture the landscapes, wildlife, waterways and communities that make the Texas Hill Country unique. Organizers said they are especially interested in photographs highlighting the people and places that define the region.
Voting for the People’s Choice Award will continue through June 7.
Winning photographs will receive cash prizes and be featured in the Hill Country Alliance’s annual Texas Hill Country Calendar, which showcases regional photography while promoting conservation and awareness of Hill Country natural resources. The contest is open to photographers of all ages, from amateurs to professionals. Organizers said entries should be original photographs that reflect the beauty of the Hill Country, including native wildlife, scenic vistas, creeks, rivers and night skies.
Photos may be submitted online through the Hill Country Alliance website.
