CADENHEAD MAKES STATE

Medina junior Mason Cadenhead poses with his medal after qualifying for the UIL State Track and Field Cham pionships in the 400-meter dash at the Region meet May 2. Cadenhead will compete at the state meet in Austin on May 16 and also placed third in the 200-meter dash, while Olivia Longoria finished third in discus, Gaige Pitts took fifth in high jump and Davis Peterson placed sixth in the 300-meter hurdles.
