PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS BEEN IN OFFICE OVER A YEAR. WHAT HAS HE ACCOMPLISHED FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, PARTICULARLY SUPPORTERS?

First; He imposed tariffs which, despite his statements to the contrary, are actually taxes on consumers, i.e., Us! The Supreme Court ruled illegal as only the legislative branch can levy tariffs or spend or appropriate money. So, how to distribute the 200 billion that the US treasury received? The president wants to allocate it….

Second: Despite President Trump‘s repeated statements to the contrary, he inherited a growth economy with reducing inflation. Now we have a slower economy with rising inflation. He promised to lower costs, yet his policies primarily benefited his family, friends, and the top 1% of wealth holders. Affordability is a key issue for so many working people living paycheck to paycheck. President Trump has often stated that he’d like to go back to the late 1800s. No doubt! That was the era of the Robber Barons who paid no income taxes and weren’t bothered with pesky regulations or worker protections or benefits.

Third: The No Wars President declared war on Iran which has also knocked prices through the roof. It’s also increasing the national debt more than $1 billion a day. That’s $1,000,000,000 daily. Additionally, President Trump‘s declaration of war was illegal and violated the Constitution. Lawlessness and erratic behavior do not seem to concern the Commander in Chief or the mostly unqualified members of his Cabinet or Republicans in Congress.

Fourth: the levels of grift and corruption in this administration will be a focus of historians for years to come. The Trump family is estimated to have gained more than $1 billion.

Fifth: the full Epstein files will eventually be released without redactions. The truth of Trump’s complicity will be exposed, as well as that of the other pedophiles.

Well, overall, President Trump’s first year in office hasn’t brought the happiness and wealth, or even stability we were promised, some promised to be in effect on his first day in office Many of us are anxious about the present and scared about the future.
