Bandera Electric Cooperative has opened nominations for its annual Foundation Members Choice Contest, giving members the opportunity to support local nonprofit organizations.
Through the program, cooperative members may nominate a nonprofit of their choice for a chance to receive a $5,000 award.
Nominations closed April 24. Following the nomination period, the top five organizations will be placed on a ballot for member voting beginning May 4.
The contest winner is scheduled to be announced June 1.
