SISTERDALE, Texas — Two people were injured Tuesday morning when a helicopter crashed on private property in Kendall County near Sisterdale, authorities said.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reported troopers responded around 11 a.m. to the crash at Headwaters Ranch, located at 8333 RM 1376. Preliminary reports indicate the helicopter struck a tree before going down.
The pilot was airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio. A passenger was taken by ground ambulance to Methodist Hill Country Memorial Hospital. Officials have not released details on the severity of their injuries.
