Medina library celebrating 25 Years with fundraiser

The Medina Community Library will celebrate a major milestone this spring as it hosts its biannual fundraising gala on March 28, marking the library’s 25th anniversary of service to the Medina community.

Organizers say the evening will be both a celebration of the library’s history and an investment in its future as a vital gathering place and educational resource for the community The event, titled “A Novel Evening,” will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Rodney Camp Pavilion, located adjacent to the library. The gala serves as one of the library’s most important fundraisers, helping support the organization’s annual operating expenses and the wide range of services the library provides to the community.

Guests attending the evening will enjoy an elegant night of fellowship and fundraising featuring a live auction, silent auction, and bucket raffle, along with hors d’oeuvres and a selection of wine, whiskey, and beer. Beverages for the event are generously donated and sponsored by Bandera Wine & Spirits.

A number of high-value items and experiences will be available during the auctions. Featured offerings include a zero-radius Stihl mower, handcrafted Damascus knives, a frontend corn feeder, gold and diamond jewelry, a weekend hunting package, a vacation getaway package, and several additional curated items donated by community supporters and local businesses.

Tickets for the gala are $100 per person, and community members are encouraged to reserve their place early. RSVPs are requested by March 19, 2026.
