The Bandera High School Choir earned high marks at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest held March 5 at Boerne Champion High School.
The choir received a superior rating for its onstage concert performance and an excellent rating in the sight-reading portion of the contest.
According to school officials, the combined scores placed Bandera among the top three of the 11 participating high school choirs.
School representatives said the students represented Bandera High School with confidence and professionalism during the competition.
