Lakehills Lakehills United Methodist Church will host its annual fish fry fundraiser Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 150 Avenue J.
The meal will feature cornmeal-battered fried fish served with coleslaw and French fries.
Dessert options include homemade peach or apple cobbler. Plates are $12, and attendees may dine in the church’s mission hall or take meals to go.
In conjunction with the fundraiser, the church will hold a silent auction offering a variety of items, including furniture, lamps, tables, gym equipment, arts and crafts and other gently used goods.
Proceeds from the event will support the church and its community outreach programs.
Lakehills United Methodist Church provides a free meal each Monday, operates a food pantry, offers an after-school program for local children and maintains a prom closet, among other services.
