The Bandera High School powerlifting team turned in a strong performance Saturday, Feb. 7, at the 5th Annual Marvin Allen Bulldog Powerlifting Invitational, with eight lifters earning top-five finishes against a competitive field.
Logan Harman led the Bulldogs, capturing first place with a combined lift total of 1,610 pounds.
The win adds to Harman’s successful season and places him among the top lifters in the region.
Bandera secured several additional podium finishes in the boys division. Nate Evans placed second with a 1,405-pound total, and Isaiah Coloney also earned second with 1,260 pounds.
Landon Munoz finished third at 1,120 pounds, while Juan Cabrera placed fourth with 1,230 pounds.
Jacob Barrier rounded out the medalists with a fifth-place finish and a 910-pound total.
The Lady Bulldogs also contributed strong performances.
Ruby Lister earned second place with a total of 850 pounds, and Anna Delgado finished fourth with 605 pounds.
Bandera will now prepare for its final regular-season meet, scheduled at Crystal City, as the Bulldogs continue working toward postseason competition.
