What do you want voters to know about you?

I want voters to know that I am rooted in this community and deeply invested in its future. I’m not a career politician — I’m a working attorney, former Texas peace officer, smallbusiness owner, and mother raising a family right here in Bandera County.

I understand what it means to balance budgets, solve problems, and make hard decisions that affect real people.

My approach to leadership is simple: show up, listen, and follow through.

Whether I’ve been serving clients in the courtroom, running a business, or volunteering locally, I’ve built a reputation for being steady, practical, and accountable. I believe public service should be about integrity and accessibility, not titles or politics.

If elected, I will be a County Judge who is present, responsive, and grounded in the needs of the people. My goal isn’t to build power — it’s to serve well. I want voters to know that I will treat this role as a responsibility, not a stepping stone, and I will work every day to earn their trust.

What will your priorities be, both short term and long term?

In the short term, my priorities are transparency, communication, and operational stability. That means strengthening communication between the county and the public, ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly, and supporting the departments that keep Bandera County running — from road and bridge to emergency services.

I also want to improve accessibility. Residents should be able to understand what the county is doing, why decisions are made, and how they can be involved. Clear communication builds trust and better outcomes.

Long term, my focus is responsible growth and preserving what makes Bandera County special. We need thoughtful planning that protects property rights, supports infrastructure, and maintains our rural character. That includes being proactive about development, water resources, and long-range budgeting so we’re not reacting in crisis mode.

Ultimately, my goal is steady, balanced leadership — addressing today’s needs while planning wisely for the future.

What do you see as your office’s biggest challenge, and how do you plan to address it?

The biggest challenge facing this office is balancing growth with preservation.

Bandera County is changing, and with that comes pressure on infrastructure, emergency services, and resources. The difficulty is managing that growth without losing the character and independence that people value here.

My approach is rooted in preparation and collaboration. First, we need data-driven planning — understanding where we are, where we’re headed, and what that means for roads, services, and budgets. Second, we need strong coordination between county leadership, municipalities, and state partners to make sure we’re not working in silos.

Equally important is listening to residents. Good policy starts with real input from the people who live here. I will prioritize open dialogue and transparency so decisions reflect community priorities, not assumptions.

By combining proactive planning, fiscal responsibility, and community engagement, we can meet the challenges ahead without sacrificing the values that define Bandera County.

Campaigns often focus on change. What is something you believe is important to maintain?

While every campaign talks about change, I believe it’s just as important to protect what already works. Bandera County has a strong sense of community, independence, and neighbor-to-neighbor support. That spirit is something worth preserving.

We also need to maintain fiscal responsibility. Being careful with taxpayer dollars isn’t a new idea — it’s a long-standing expectation here and should remain a guiding principle. Responsible budgeting allows us to meet future needs, like infrastructure and emergency services, without overburdening residents.

At the same time, even when things are working well, there is always room to improve how government connects with people. I will focus on increasing accessibility and transparency so residents can easily get information, ask questions, and feel confident their voices are heard.

My goal is not change for the sake of change. It’s thoughtful leadership that builds on Bandera County’s strengths while preparing responsibly for the future — honoring our traditions while guiding the county forward with integrity and service.
