What do you want voters to know about you?
Laura Briscoe is seeking re-election as Republican Precinct Chair 101, presenting herself as the conservative, experienced candidate for the role. With a proven track record, Laura has served as Precinct Chair for the past six years and has been an active Delegate to the Republican State Convention, advocating for legislative priorities such as closed primaries, secure borders, school choice, and other First American policies.
Her leadership extends beyond the precinct, having held positions as President, Vice-President, and other offices within Republican Women of Bandera, Irving, and Denton. Laura’s dedication to civic engagement is further demonstrated by her more than ten years as a Deputy Voter Registrar, during which she has registered dozens of voters. Between 2010 and 2016 Laura traveled with The TEA Party Express across the U.S. helping elect conservative candidates. Her continued commitment to Republican values and community involvement makes her a strong candidate.
On her personal side: Laura served as a Court Reporter/Paralegal in then U.S. Marine Corps. After loosing her husband unexpectedly when her two boys were 4 and 11 she went on to raise two conservative patriotic young men who served multiple tours with the Army.
Laura completed her Undergraduate Degree in Health Care Administration with an emphasis in Technology from University of Mo. and her MBA from LeTourneau University with her Dissertation on “Servant Leadership”. She later pursued a PhD in Organization Technology. For 40 years Laura held various positions in I.T. Technology for Health Care, Government, Manufacturing. Retiring from University of Dallas.
