It’s not Frankenstein. Wish it were. Cause he’s not real. But this is. And it will hurt all of us.
Hey, just so you know, I was born in Houston, raised mostly in Texas in high income neighborhoods. For years, everyone in my family was a Republican. And I have a Master’s Degree from an Ivy League College.
Yet I’m terrified. But don’t call me a scaredy cat. Even that national conservative columnist George Will is writing columns criticizing the Trump administration.
Given the “scariest thing” we all face now, the only solution is the largest, national, ongoing, public uprising in the US since 1862 when the Civil War began.
It’s the only way to preserve our democracy whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican. And it may be our last chance.
SO WHAT’S THE SCARIEST THING?
No 2026 midterm elections even though the right to vote is “the most enshrined right” in the US Constitution and “it is protected by 5 amendments.”
There are ways Trump might try to stop that election. If he can’t, he’ll try to rig it, to make sure he stays in power by preventing qualified voters from casting ballots, gerrymandering states to suppress the vote, or shutting down the government through an executive action, claiming voter rolls are fraudulent.
His goal? Total control of the US government. And with ICE, he has his own private paramilitary army to reach that goal.
BUT HE’S SCARED
His overall popularity is tanking on every important issue in every important category. “By more than two-to-one Americans say the administration’s actions have been worse than they expected (50%) rather than better (21%). Polls published in the New York Times also show a drastic decline.
His overall popularity has been tanking faster since an ICE agent shot a mother to death in Minneapolis after she smiled at him from her car, since 2 ICE agents shot and killed a Veteran’s Hospital nurse there after he tried to help a woman ICE officers shoved down in the snow and they sent a 5-year-old kindergartener in a “bunny cap” to a detention center in Texas with his dad. So far, 3,800 children have been held in ICE detention centers. And they’ve been treated like prisoners.
SO IS TRUMP BACKING OFF?
No, it’s a tactic he uses to fool people. He knows Republican candidates are going to lose in November’s midterm 2026 elections. And he’s out to stop that no matter what.
We all have to stand up and defy him. Peacefully? Yes! Otherwise he’ll call us domestic terrorists, justifying a total takeover of the US government with the help of ICE, his private army. Is that scary? Yeah, it is the scariest thing. I don’t want the US to turn into Russia where elections always put Putin back in power. I’m sure you don’t either.
