Deputies with the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit seized more than 2 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, THC products and over $30,000 in cash while executing a search warrant Jan. 31 in a Polly Peak subdivision, according to authorities.
In a Facebook post Monday, Feb. 2, Sheriff Josh Teitge praised the deputies’ efforts, writing, “Outstanding work by our deputies as they continue to crush the criminal narcotics element, keeping our community a safer place to live.”
During the search, deputies recovered approximately 2 pounds of marijuana, 168 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol, commonly known as THC, 7 grams of methamphetamine and more than $30,000 in U.S. currency.
Randy Stokes was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana between 4 ounces and 5 pounds, a state jail felony; possession with intent to deliver between 4 and 200 grams of methamphetamine, a first-degree felony; and possession with intent to deliver between 4 and 200 grams of THC, also a first-degree felony.
Ean Stokes was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for possession of between 1 and 4 grams of THC. He also faces charges of possession of marijuana between 4 ounces and 5 pounds, a state jail felony, and possession with intent to deliver between 4 and 200 grams of THC, a first-degree felony.
Both were booked into the Bandera County Jail.
