The Lower Colorado River Authority is accepting applications this month for community grants that support improvements to public facilities and equipment for emergency responders, according to a press release.
The grant program provides funding for projects such as upgrades to fire stations, community centers, sports fields and libraries, as well as the purchase of updated gear and equipment for first responders.
During this grant cycle, LCRA will award dozens of grants of up to $50,000, along with one grant of up to $100,000 to mark the program’s 30th anniversary.
