S.A. Missions hosting job fair at Nelson Wolff Stadium

The San Antonio Missions and Diamond Concessions announced they will host a job fair Saturday, Jan. 31, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium as the team prepares for the upcoming 2026 season.

The job fair is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to noon and will focus on filling a variety of seasonal positions with the Missions, including bat boys, grounds crew members, ushers, ticket scanners, parking attendants, press box staff, video production assistants, cleaning and maintenance workers, 50/50 raffle sellers and gameday operations personnel.

Diamond Concessions, the Missions’ food service provider, will also accept applications for hourly positions such as cashiers, concession stand managers, grill cooks, kitchen preparation staff, picnic attendants, runners and warehouse workers.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply and at least 18 to serve alcohol. Most positions begin at $12 per hour.

Interested applicants are required to complete an online application form prior to arrival and are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume.

Job seekers may enter through the first-base gate located off the U.S. 90 access road.

The job fair comes as the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, finalize preparations for the 2026 season.

Earlier this month, the Padres announced the Missions’ 2026 coaching staff, naming former major league catcher Chris Tremie as manager. Tremie, a Houston native, enters his first season with the Padres organization after spending 13 seasons managing in the Cleveland Guardians system and serving as minor league field coordinator for the Cincinnati Reds.

He will be joined by pitching coach Erick Abreu and bench coach Brian Burres, both new to the San Antonio staff. Returning coaches and staff include hitting coach Eric Del Prado, athletic trainer Juan Peña, strength coach Chandler Craig, performance analyst Brendan Amend and video coordinator Ryan Gard.

The Missions will open the 2026 season Thursday, April 2, on the road against the Tulsa Drillers before returning home April 7 to host the Corpus Christi Hooks.
