The Bandera Lady Bulldogs picked up their first district win of the season Tuesday night with a 56–25 victory over the Canyon Lake Lady Hawks.
Bandera set the tone early, forcing seven steals in the first quarter and jumping out to a 20–3 lead.
The Lady Bulldogs carried a 21-point advantage into halftime and continued to control the game throughout the second half.
Senior Brooklyn Grabs led Bandera with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Senior Taytum Moeller anchored the defense with eight steals while adding 10 points and four assists. Senior Kourtney Frerich also contributed on both ends of the floor, finishing with 14 points, five rebounds and three steals.
With the win, Bandera improved to 13–10 overall and 1–1 in district play.
Bandera will return to action Friday night at home against Fredericksburg.
