Esther Benedict has been sculpting for more than 34 years.

She began developing a deep understanding of metal and how it “moves, bends and responds to a human hand” after earning a degree in horse management and working as a successful AFA-certified journeyman farrier, forging hot, handmade horseshoes.

Esther developed her “signature line sculpture style” as her work evolved into “expressive, flowing forms that feel alive with motion and emotion.”

She works in multiple styles, from “one-of-a-kind, hand-formed metal sculptures to traditional cast bronze.”

The subject matter for her pieces often reflects her roots, focusing on horses and wildlife.

Through her gift line, Pick-Me-Ups, Esther introduces human figures that “celebrate connection, humor and heart.”

Esther’s metal art is shown in galleries throughout the United States and around the world.

She has received multiple People’s Choice awards and has strong collector support.

Her pieces are held in private collections across the country and abroad.

Her work can be viewed at the Esther Benedict Gallery in Pipe Creek, Texas.

Visitors can also enjoy an outdoor “sculpture walk,” with visits available by appointment only.

Esther said it is “incredible to see metal come to life.”
