Sixth annual radiothon benefits Kerrville youth show

Ranch Radio Marketing Group will host its sixth annual radiothon benefiting the Hill District Grandstand Youth Livestock Show on Wednesday, Jan. 14, with live broadcasts airing from 6 a.m. to noon across the company’s radio stations.

The radiothon will air on 92.3 The Ranch, The River 106.1, 104.3 and 102.1 The Hill Country Patriot, The Raptor 96.5 and 93.9, and The Fox 106.5.

Businesses and individuals will be encouraged to make donations throughout the broadcast, with all funds raised benefiting youth participating in the Hill District Grandstand Show and local 4-H, FFA and Ag Mechanics programs across the Texas Hill Country.

The event is sponsored by SBS Construction of Hunt, Garrett Realty and Auction, Kinetico of San Antonio and the Hill Country, Fredericksburg Chevrolet-GMC, Cypress Roofing, and Coyote Powersports of Boerne.

The Hill District Grandstand Show serves youth from more than 30 Hill Country counties, focusing on leadership, responsibility, teamwork and work ethic, while also providing financial opportunities that often support college or trade school education.

Organizers said supporting local youth remains a priority despite challenges faced by families across the region in the past year.

Donations may be made during the radiothon by calling 830-465-KIDS or online at ranchrmg. com. Contributions are tax deductible.

Ranch Radio Marketing Group has raised more than $93,900 for Hill Country youth through previous radiothons and aims to make this year’s event the most successful yet.
