A 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody following a series of vehicle burglaries reported Dec. 15 in the Pebble Beach area, according to the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took multiple reports of stolen property, including firearms and ammunition. Investigators continued working the case throughout the day and identified a potential suspect, the sheriff’s office said.
Patrol deputies, assisted by the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit, later conducted a high-risk apprehension at the suspect’s residence, where a 16-yearold male juvenile was taken into custody, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies reported recovering six stolen firearms, large quantities of ammunition and approximately 28 grams of THC wax from the residence.
The juvenile was transported to the Guadalupe County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with six counts of third-degree felony theft of a firearm and one count of first-degree felony possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, with intent to deliver, The investigation remains ongoing.
