The Bandera Chamber of Commerce held its annual Christmas Cork Popper on Friday, Dec. 20, at Legacy Ranch at the Silver Spur.
General Manager Sheri Johnson hosted the event, dressed in traditional Western attire, accompanied by her Yorkshire terrier.
Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted guests at the entrance, while miniature cattle from Lil’ Thistle Mini Cattle were displayed on the lawn.
Visitors were able to admire and feed the animals, which readily accepted treats from both children and adults.
The ranch dining room was decorated with holiday- themed decor. Food and beverages were served buffet-style, offering a variety of holiday fare.
Guests, including families with children, also gathered in the front room, where photos with Santa were available. Soft holiday music played throughout the evening.
Later, Santa distributed stuffed animals to children in attendance. Drawings for adult prizes were conducted by James Hernandez toward the end of the event.
Johnson later led guests on a tour of the ranch’s new event center, which is nearing completion. The facility is designed to accommodate up to 400 guests and offers ample parking. J ohnson said the center is expected to host its first event soon.
The gathering marked the Chamber’s final event of 2025, providing an opportunity for members and guests to visit with colleagues and friends.
