The Bandera Lady Bulldogs improved to 11-6 on the season Tuesday night with a 56-36 victory over the Beeville Jones Lady Trojans, using a strong defensive effort to pull away.
Bandera finished with 26 steals and held Beeville to under 30% shooting for the game, setting the tone throughout the night.
Senior Kourtney Frerich led the Lady Bulldogs offensively with a career- high 17 points. Senior Maddie Davis added 14 points and seven rebounds, while senior Brooklyn Davis contributed 12 points and eight rebounds.
Senior Taytum Moeller anchored the defensive effort with eight steals, six rebounds and five assists.
The Lady Bulldogs will enter the Christmas break at 11-6 and are scheduled to return to action Dec. 29 at the Corpus Christi West Oso Roy Williams Holiday Tournament.
