Logo deadline approaches

Editor’s Note: The version of this story in last week’s paper incorrectly stated who could apply for the contest. The Bulletin apologizes for the error.

Students in Bandera County have until Dec. 15 to submit designs for the official logo of the new Bandera County Fair.

The newly established Bandera County Fair Advisory Board is inviting junior high and high school students from Bandera County to create a logo that will serve as the lasting mark for the county’s first fair.

The winning design will be featured as the official logo for the event.

The contest is open to all Bandera County students in junior high or high school. Submissions must be delivered to the Bandera Visitor Center at 126 Highway 16 South in Bandera by the deadline.

The student whose design is selected will receive a ribbon or plaque, fair-themed merchandise, and two complimentary passes to the fair.

Organizers said the logo contest and the launch of the Bandera County Fair are intended to create a new annual tradition for the community.

For more information, residents may call 830-796-3045.
