The Old Spanish Trail restaurant is inviting the community to get into the holiday spirit with its annual Gingerbread House Contest. Participants must drop off their entries at the restaurant on Friday, December 12, between 10 a.m. and noon. Each entry must be built on a piece of cardboard 16 inches square or smaller, and the participant’s name and phone number should be written on the bottom. Entries will be voted on by the public, and winners will be announced at noon on Friday, December 19. The Old Spanish Trail, serving the Bandera community since 1921, hosts the contest as part of its holiday activities. For more information, participants can contact Sara Sandifer at 210-845-0821.
