Contest accepting entries for fair’s logo through Dec. 15

The newly established Bandera County Fair Advisory Board has announced a logo design contest inviting local junior high and high school students to create the official mark for the county’s first Bandera County Fair.

The inaugural fair is scheduled to take place Oct. 13–18, 2026.

The board is encouraging students to participate early in the planning process, offering the opportunity for the winning artist to have their work selected as the official and lasting logo for the new county event.

The contest is open to students from Bandera Junior High and Bandera High School. All submissions must be delivered by Dec. 15, 2025, to the Bandera Visitor Center at 126 Highway 16 South in Bandera. The student whose design is selected will receive a ribbon or plaque, fair-themed merchandise and two complimentary passes to the event.

Organizers said the decision to launch the Bandera County Fair is intended to establish a new annual tradition for the community.

For more information about the logo contest, residents may call 830-796-3045.
